The Murican flag has a sleek 11 stripes unlike the 13 of the American flag.

IRL, any employee making that basic of a mistake more than once would be fired. In aMurika, they do it every time and it's a reason for promotion.

Umm...it costs more to print the two extra stripes? Can't have those extra pennies go anywhere except in to t and sons pockets, ya know. How else are they gonna pay for all those golden toilets in the ballroom bunker?

Since the stripes represent the 13 colonies they got rid of Massachusetts and Delaware.

Massachusetts obviously because it is way too liberal.
Delaware because, like most corporations, they are registered in Delaware, so if they get rid of Delaware you can't file suit against them.

This way, if some proud American brings suit over trumpty-dumpty using the flag image, they can just retort "Oh no...we aren't using the American flag - ours has only 11 stripes". Sounds like an out that they would use to their advantage.

That, with the semblance of an American flag portrayed on the back of the phone, gives the consumer the false impression that the phone was made in the USA, when it wasn’t. The wording was devised by lawyers to create the argument that it is meaningless, and therefore unenforceable, while the obvious intent is to mislead the potential buyer of the phone’s origin.
