I have never been so disappointed by the DU..DUers have been lied to

There is a post this morning about State Senator John Cavanaugh of Nebraska being a Trumper. It is not true! Because the Senator voted for eliminating income taxes on overtime and tips, a conservative PAC said he was voting with Trump. From there millions of dollars were spent against the Senator by conservative PACs. Lie after lie was spread 24/7 on TV and radio ads. Apparently the ads paid off. The Senator is down by about 1,000 votes. Election workers in Douglas County still have thousands of ballots left to count, and the Powell and Cavanaugh camps are both treating the race as undetermined.

I will support the winner of the race. I just want to clear the air about Senator Cavanaugh.

100% NOTHING TO DO WITH HELPING ANY EMPLOYEES AND 100% EVERYTHING TO DO WITH CHIPPING AWAY AT THE SOCIAL SECURITY FUND.

NO ELECTED DEMOCRAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN FOOLED BY THE UNEXPRESSED REPUBLICAN LONG-STANDING GOAL.

IOW: DON'T BE A CHUMP AND VOTE FOR A REPUBLICAN IDEA.

Maybe I'm just a tad more cynical than some Social Security mavens.

I'm sure the endorsing organizations and politicians are looking at the entire larger picture and record, as they should. Or at least at Party affiliation.

As for any Democrat's voting for anything proposed by any Republican, I will die on the "Never" hill.
