A request: can we stop referring to the orange excrement as "grampy?"

It normalizes him IMO but also implies that all grandfathers are evil and senile.

Also, I bet he doesn't even know his grandchildren's names.

Trump is senile, and he's also crazy and evil. So I call him Trump, which is a slang expression for fart in the UK.

'Grampy' doesn't cover it, and there is no negative imputation for those grandpas who do the right thing by their family tree.

Dead-Man-Walking is more appropriate.

How about 'Sundowning Grampy'? No?

Grampies are good. I called mine papa and he was the best. He always covered for us so my grandmother wouldn't get mad at us if we broke something. ❤️

He loved us and that is an emotion that is alien to tsf.

Love your memories of your papa! My OP is motivated by my husband, who, as our 4YO granddaughter says is a "super funny" granddad.

I don’t think it’s always wrong to address his cognition with sarcastic remarks like “Okay pawpaw *eyeroll”
BUT, I don’t think routinely nicknaming him “grampy” or “grandpa” is good or effective.

about it.

He's a PEDO, Rapist, Homicidal Maniac, Felon, Psychotic, Serial Mouth Diseased Liar. He doesn't associate with being a "grandfather".

"Grampy" is too folksy for that Murdering Asshole. I don't like "trumpy", either. It too normalizes him. Like a pet name.

We know what PEDO is. Every single day.. and he's killing Americans, America, and the World.

TY, mcar.

I don’t care about the other things mentioned in the thread. Not here to police the speech of others. Getting offended by inconsequential things is one reason why we are often perceived as uptight and another reason why we lose so I generally try to avoid that. Truthfully there’s really nothing Trump or his an acolytes could say to offend me anymore. His words long ago lost any power to move me. His actions remain deeply problematic. Similarly there’s no criticism or swipe atTrump or filthy MAGAts that would ever offend me either.
