The claim they make is that the current crop of adult males (those maybe 10-15 years younger than I) were raised on media that portrayed men-as-husbands being bumbling jokes. Think Malcolm in the Middle's dad, or Homer Simpson, or any number of commercials where men have to ask their wives how to use a laundry machine.

This is manifesting as an inferiority complex and defense mechanisms that are amplified with social media and online parasocial relationships.

It is a reasonable hypothesis, but I'm a man and I'm not wounded by these depictions. Like yeah, it is an overcorrection from I Love Lucy, but since when did us dudes become such snowflakes?

Fetterman, though, had trouble talking and looked like he was going to cry. It was painful to see. He didn't cry like Jordan Peterson (who cries in anger like a lunatic).

There is nothing that can realistically be done -- advise him not to run for reelection because the DSCC won't fund him, but beyond that they really can't make him do anything. Take him off committees? Ooo less homework

If we win the senate with only 51 seats, we will be back to a Manchin situation. I do think if he starts mucking everything up in a situation like that, it would be best to publicly throw him to the curb. Manchin and Sinema really helped killed momentum and motivation among Dem leaning voters.
