"Polio" was DDT poisoning. A chemical used to control pests in agriculture was sprayed directly on children. 😑 The effects were called polio and ushered in a mass vaccination program in the early '50s. Most of you who are 70 and older had very few vaxxes growing up. So you're advocating for something that didn't affect you adversely. Kids today can get 60 or more. I had 22 by 1983 as a teen when 11 was the average. Explains a lot.
