MAGAs Are Fuming After Email Confirms They Will Never Get Their $500 Trump Phones or Deposits Back

Nearly 600,000 Trump supporters paid £74 ($100) each towards a gold smartphone that, nearly a year on, does not exist.

An estimated 590,000 buyers paid a £74 ($100) deposit to secure one, collectively handing the venture roughly £43.7 million ($59 million). As of May 2026, not a single confirmed customer has received the device. Now, a fresh wave of anger is spreading across MAGA forums after buyers received communication making clear that their money is, for all practical purposes, gone.

"There's a sucker born every minute" and given these are those who have every reason to know better and not some poor ill-informed suckers, I have no such outrage. That they will be unlikely to prevail in a class-action lawsuit is pretty obvious too and FTC is not about to do anything at all.

representing entities that were/are currying favors from His Lard Assship. I've seen this story echoed everywhere yet I haven't seen much proof of a MASS of MAGAts that are pissed. I've seen some people complain on right wing message boards and FB where I anonymously lurk, but I've yet to see anything that justifies the headline. That further makes me believe this was a scam to get a cool 50 million into his pocket by people wanting favors. Wouldn't be hard to "buy" 100 phones and then wink, especially if you're a company/corp.

Trump University
Fake Trump crypto coin
Trump watches
2017 Inaugural Committee defraud
Trump Organization Financial Fraud: for providing false property valuations to lenders and tax authorities.
Trump Foundation Settlement: using the charity's funds for political and personal benefit, such as buying campaign portraits and a $10,000 portrait of himself.

Then the hundreds or maybe thousands of contractors that did work for Trump and purposefully never got paid.

This form does not expressly provide that the deposit is non-refundable. There may be other contractual provisions that may provide that the refunds are non-refundable but normally the courts will construe such provisions very narrowly.. There will be litigation and trump should be forced to refund these deposits This will be fun to watch

I know that trump is taking the position that the deposits are nonrefundable but there will be litigation on this issue
