(327 posts)I just did an 1800 mile trip. Filled up in Soulard district in STL and made it to home in Wisconsin with 100 miles range left to go .Gas probably $1 higher thru Illinois. Average on trip was 28.5Mpg. At least my 100th time thru STL.

(47 posts)No top ten percenter on the income pyramid climate and environmental activist has stepped in and said. "Good, I hate Trump but gas and oil prices need to be high so people drive less and stop ruining the environment." lol Probably a bit of truth there but it certainly is no consolation for people struggling with inflation on everything.

(114,410 posts)While the increases are seemingly jumping like a digital counter, what infuriates me is some of that incredible variation is from the same stations (or grocery store locations)--just within a few miles of each other. WTF justifies THAT?
Yes, I have a hybrid Prius, but it still bites.

(2,648 posts)Never thought Id see Indiana have some of the most expensive gas in the nation. Soon the gas tax holiday will expire and it will go up another 20 cents

(6,530 posts)Per litre (which is $4.92 USD per US gallon). And that in a province that exports most of what it produces...
I do not complain however - things that reduce fossil fuel consumption aren't all bad.
