and yes, including Thomas.. how sad and disappointing ..

all the violence, all the bodies, all the ignorance and hate. we barely made a dent in it and now that's gone.. I'm ashamed of my generation and my country and myself.

I remember a post several years ago where a DU'er (Mr Scorpio.. oh how I loved his posts, on twitter too) said as far as Blacks in America, we've made no progress. I weighed in with my whiteness showing and said of course there hasn't been much, but there has been some, showing my complete ignorance of the heart of the matter, and, his post. He was kind enough to not rip me a new one and simply didn't respond.

For now, the racists are winning.. oh so much winning! they should be sick of it, but they're just plain sick.
Meantime, at 78, I doubt if I'll see a resurgence of sanity, but I can hope..
