But it reminds me too much of the Church Lady. He can win this if he doesn't overdo it.

Somebody posted it on DU last year, which was the first time I saw it.
The context was a bona fide sermon in church, and he delivered it in October 2023, so it's not as if he's taken to delivering sermons on the stump.
It's actually well worth a listen, IMO. I'm not conventionally religious, but I found it heartening to hear a clever, detailed dissection and condemnation of the nationalist (a.k.a. right-wing) turn in US religious practice.
