US-Iran "war" at a stalemate. Temperatures will be dropping in six months

across the Northern Hemisphere.

Will there be dependable and adequate supplies of heating oil and natural gas?

Now the whole world is paying for his incompetence, and Hegseth's. Trump should fire Hegseth, blame everything on him, and withdraw our forces sent to the Middle East. His cult will still worship him, and he can claim to have ended a war and avoided a worldwide recession, which is likely if this situation continues even for another month or so. I'm sure he could make up enough lies about Iran to satisfy Republicans that he accomplished something with his war.

Perhaps the EU and China should put economic sanctions on the US and Israel for starting an illegal war because the US was not attacked. This was a war of choice, just as Putin's attack on Ukraine was a choice. The EU sanctioned Russia as a result.
