but doesn't it seem like there is always some damned man standing in the way of the rule of law, -progressivism, and simple common human decency? There seems to be an endless supply of them, all with uncommonly good health.

Religious people would say that the Antichrist takes care of his own and these days I don't think they're completely wrong, although I still don't believe a word of it. Something is going on as our species, at least the interconnected "xivilized" part of it, seems determined to put these guys into power as we rush toward self immolation.

Whatever, this is a great song. I know the sun shone a little brighter after Limbaugh kicked the bucket.

Thanks for giving them some recs! It's a good message for these times, hope spread in the past by

Al Bowlly, Glenn Miller and his band, Native American Mildred Bailey, and many others.
