Crew wakeup is scheduled today (April 9) at 11:35 a.m. EDT (1535 GMT).
They do have a few more demonstration tests to carry out today, practicing various procedures for a few off-nominal scenarios. Theyll also be donning and fitting compression clothes designed to help their bodies readjust to gravity after landing, which they also spent some time yesterday doing.
Those are called orthostatic intolerant garments, and help to counteract symptoms like dizziness and lightheadedness after time spent in zero-g.
By the end of today, the couches in Orion will be secured back in place, and the Artemis 2 crew will be fully ready for their return home, with the final leg of their mission just ahead.
Tomorrow will bring an end to their mission, with a splashdown scheduled for tomorrow (April 10), at 8:07 p.m. EDT (0007 GMT, April 11).
