(44,971 posts)They said that a good bargain is one that is acceptable to both the buyer and the seller. Im sure Trump has no idea of that concept.

(23,467 posts)And in a "good bargain," what is good for either or both sides is a "tangible" benefit (product, service, $$$$, etc) OR...
...a "perceived benefit," which is something in the business relationship that has a clear value.
EXAMPLE...I design websites. Many of my colleagues, when it comes to updates, will charge for dotting an "I" or crossing a "T." I decided I was going to do "courtesy updates"...REASONABLY scheduled (not something every other day) REASONABLE (less than an hour of my time) for free, in appreciation of their being my client.
The majority of my clients really liked and appreciated this and didn't abuse it. Didn't cost them anything, didn't cost me anything, and whatever they needed requiring an hour or more of my time got billed at my standard rate.
So not only did Trump NOT get anything "tangible," he's also being played like a chump by Iran. He's threatening End Times and they're mocking him and defying him. This is not how deals are made. And once you set a bad precedent in the RELATIONSHIP, any "deal" that follows will be tainted.
