He posted in all caps what Aaron Rupar aptly labeled a "tantrum" after their meeting: "NATO WASN'T THERE WHEN WE NEEDED THEM, AND THEY WON'T BE THERE IF WE NEED THEM AGAIN. REMEMBER GREENLAND, THAT BIG, POORLY RUN PIECE IF ICE!!! President DJT"
I guess he actually thinks that reminding anyone of Greenland and his insane fixation on it will help his case.
The loony tunes continue out of this WH.

(372 posts)you just proved that you don't have the fortitude to do anything to "take" Greenland. Even with overwhelming force you don't handle 2 weeks of high gas prices to fight Iran. You won't be able to handle the things that the EU could do economically or militarily either.

(52,427 posts)How much of this do we have to put up with? His agenda is selfish and dystopian. No one wants to follow him. He doesnt understand procedure. He doesnt understand diplomacy. He is just destroying us with his mobster mentality.

(25,050 posts)I have a tendency to be sarcastic when referring to his many, many inexcusable statements and downright crazy demands. It's good to just hear it called out sometimes like you just did.

(52,427 posts)I think I felt it was important to put it out in straight terms. He is insane and/or illogical and we need to start responding to him in that manner.

(52,427 posts)It's a start, but they need to keep it up even if they are doomed to fail because they need to show they are relevant to the voters who will come out to vote for the midterms.

No, I haven't read the whole thing, but I have read that member nations promise to aid other member nations IF THEY ARE ATTACKED from outside..
NATO has exactly ZERO obligation to aid us in a war we have started. And I'm pretty sure the same would be true if we citizens were to begin an armed revolution. (which I certainly would not recommend. Just saying.)

(17,575 posts)That's the only way anybody in THIS mis-administration would ever read anything about NATO.
Hell, at least 70% of them can't even spell it!

The journalist made him change his sick ambition of grabbing Canada by its ... after that very basic geopolitical "lesson". A complete DUNCE who knows nothing. (Other than how to screw everyone for money.)
