Today, the AG’s office tried to inform the Oversight Committee that Pam Bondi would not appear for her deposition.

I hope she is ready to face contempt. Otherwise, we look forward to seeing you at your deposition.

AG or not—those responsible will be held accountable. Survivors deserve justice.

Congress cannot dispatch US Marshals.

US Marshals are controlled by the DOJ and the AG.

Guessing that wasn't how the subpoena was issued?

CNN is reporting this from Nancy Mace (!)

“Pam Bondi cannot escape accountability simply because she no longer holds the office of Attorney General. Our motion to subpoena Pam Bondi, which was passed by the Oversight Committee, was for Bondi by name, not by title. She will still have to appear before the Oversight Committee for a sworn deposition,” Mace said on X. “The American people deserve answers, and we expect her to appear as soon as a new date is set.”
