Bravo, I see the American pilot has been rescued.

But, I also noticed it's been reported by UK Telegraph and Al Jazeera.
Conspicuously missing are reports by American news sources. Might that be due to Kegsbreath's Pentagon press policies? Rhetorical, an answer is not needed.

Been following NYT and they’ve been following the story since it broke. Same with CNN and MS Now.

It’s a big story.

Did Hogshit announce some new press or censorship policies? I may have missed it.

here in DU that are usually posted ASAP. Were their posts original or based on other original posts.

My reference to Kegsbreath was about the new policy concerning the press and the Pentagon. The policy is new and is currently implemented against a Judges order. The Pentagon at the behest of Kegsbreath is trying to rewrite and implement new policies as of this last week. To which the lawyer Ted Bhutros and the Judge have said, not so fast. The Pentagon end run is not fooling anybody.

Breaking news does not mean originally sourced. NYT, CNN and MS Now may have broken the news to their viewers but it doesn't mean they didn't have to rely on original sourcing. I honestly don't know who got the story first. My post was written based on my observation here on DU and my previous knowledge of the Pentagon Press policy.
If I had to guess, Fox or one of this Administration's favored news sources was imbeded with a source close to the operation to get first hand knowledge.
My gripe, is the bad treatment of news outlets not associated with FOX or any of the other MAGA cheerleaders.

America pats itself on the back for rescuing someone whom Trump put in harms way to cover up his own personal failures.

that we have idiots leading this country making stupid, deadly mistakes. No matter the reason the pilots did their job and everybody involved directly in the rescue did theirs.
I'm hoping I've misinterpreted your reply as anything more than sarcasm of the obsurdity of this war. Because that, I would agree with.

She didn't have much doubt the pilot would be rescued, saying the troops involved were trained well for situations like this.
