Will Trump Break the Nuclear Taboo?

{W}ith Trump breaking every taboo domestically and internationally, demonstrating that he is above the law and can do as he pleases at every turn, the ultimate taboo waiting to be broken is the nuclear one.

This may in fact be part of the reason why Presidents Putin and China’s President Xi Jinping have muted their response to the attacks on Iran. They know how dangerous Trump is and they don’t want to provoke him.

There are reports from U.S. Air Force veteran Mikey Weinstein, the head of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, that his organization has received calls from more than 200 soldiers on over 50 military bases that “have one damn thing in freaking common …the unrestricted euphoria of their commanders...{that this 'biblical' war is the undeniable sign that}... “Trump was ‘anointed by Jesus to light the signal fire in Iran to cause Armageddon and mark his return to Earth.’”

U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard warned in June that we were “closer to the brink of nuclear annihilation than ever before.” We might be a lot closer than even she realized.

Trump is Putin's puppet. This is all going according to Putin's plan. Who wins if the Mid East is nuked? Who will be blamed if the Mid East is nuked? Who will get nuked next if the Mid East is nuked?

The problem is the military has willfully obeyed illegal orders.

The illegal order to murder civilians on boats.

The illegal order to kidnap a head of state.

And the illegal order to lawlessly attack Iran.

The news I'm seeing indicates that Trump's declared a deadline of 48 hrs. for Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz or face all-out destruction – that's been ticking down for a while already – and Iran seems to recognize that it's in an existential fight to the finish and is basically saying f.u. and forget negotiations, since Trump & his admin have proved they absolutely cannot be trusted.

And both Iran and the US & Israel have already threatened irreversible destruction of one another's infrastructures including nuclear power plants in the region; and as you know, we're already bombing the nuclear plant in Isfahan, although I think we're claiming that we're somehow doing so without risk of nuclear catastrophe, which seems to me implausible.

And Iran has now sent 2 ICBM missiles, apparently coming very close to hitting an island target 4,000 mis. away, one of which filed and the other of which we claim we've intercepted, but without clarifying whether we nonetheless suffered any damage from the flack. The 4,000-mi. range could reach central Europe, among other places.

And thousands of Iranians have already been killed, many of them civilians including many children; and of course there have been many more wounded.

If I were the rest of the world, I'd band together to try to stop the US & Israel.

Most service members are not happy at all with this and certainly aren't excited about armageddon.
So, the majority won't be calling in to express their "euphoria."

…but if we end up in a nuclear war thanks to the Orange Malignancy, I hope I’m close to ground zero. Make it quick.
