Ted Cruz has a great idea. (if you ignore the 7 times Democrats already tried to do this..)

He and the GOP know that their shutdown is bad and that they can't hide from it much longer as TSA lines are literally lasting several hours in some airports.

Require Congresscritters to fly commercial second-class and go through the same security checks as the rest of us.

While we're at it, let's require them to buy health insurance in the same ways and of the same kinds as those of us who don't get it through our employers.

Etc.

If Congress had to live under the conditions they impose on the rest of us, half our problems wouldn't exist.
