(5,760 posts)For the past year, Chris Murphy has been saying - we need to save our democracy NOW.
I agree with him.
It seems to me the media and the ones pulling the strings are trying to get people talking about 2028. Right now 2028 is a long way off. First we have to make sure they don't rig and steal the 2026 election.

(1,648 posts)Hell he could run for an open house seat. Not sure why he has passed on this since moving there. More hospitable state than Indiana. Hes a resident and has name recognition. Bring from Indiana wont matter. Its a neighboring state. I dont see it being a big deal.
Im not totally sold on JB. I see real issues running another billionaire after this one. We need to build a real coalition against billionaires ruling political offices.
But at least he has executive experience and his heads in the right place policy wise. Its still way too early. Im keeping an open mind. It really depends on what kind of agenda he runs on.

(56,101 posts)I can already hear the excuses. We had a felon run against a prosecutor, with no criminal charges. Who won? That's right, a FELON! They can't vote in most states, but apparently are "fit enough to" be president.
I am waiting to see how midterms turn out.
