70 to 100 injured! Missiles hit Israel -Israel intercepts not working good tonight

Drop Site News
🚨 BREAKING: ~60 injured, 6 in serious condition in Iranian missile strike on Arad, southern Israel following direct hit

➤ Israel’s Channel 12 described a “very difficult scene,” reporting over 100 injured, while Israel’s official rescue service MDA said at least 59 people have been transferred to hospitals.

➤ Casualty breakdown via Zirat News: 6 in serious condition, 13 moderate, and around 40 with mild injuries.

➤ MDA said the missile directly hit a residential building with multiple entrances. The IDF said the missile carried roughly half a ton of explosives and that two interception attempts failed, adding the projectile was not new and had been used previously.

💢 Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf wrote on X that failed interceptions over heavily defended areas like Dimona (site of an earlier strike today) signal the battle is “entering a new phase,” adding that “Israel’s skies are defenseless” and that “the time has come to implement the next pre-designed plans.” He wished a “Happy Nowruz to the Iranian nation.”

According to Israeli Channel 12, the strike site in Arad is the most difficult location encountered since the start of the war.

“Tehran Times says the attack was 'the retaliation of Israeli-American airstrike on Iran's Natanz Nuclear Facility'. “

“An Iranian missile attack in the city of Dimona has left 39 people injured, Israel's ambulance service says.”

I wonder if those who view the Iron Dome as unfair will be pleased with this? sarisataka 14 hrs ago #1
Sounds like Arrow intercepts failed - different size missiles use differ interceptors womanofthehills 14 hrs ago #2

They have other interceptions besides Iron Dome - David’s Sling, Arrow, 2 and 3, Patriot and sometimes THAADs. lThey are all different targeting different short & long range missiles & drones.

According to Grok it looks like it was the Arrow intercepts that missed.

Grok:

“Iran launched ballistic missiles (some long-range, the first of their kind in weeks) targeting southern Israel, including near the Dimona nuclear research center and the city of Arad. The IDF confirmed:
- Air defenses (Arrow and the layered system) operated but did not intercept the missiles that struck.
- This led to direct hits: buildings damaged (including apartment collapses in Arad), dozens injured (at least 7–10 seriously, including children), and a mass-casualty event declared in Arad. No radiation leak at Dimona.
- Similar reports from Hezbollah barrages in the north.

Social media and outlets (including Fox News clips circulating) have widely called this an "Iron Dome failure," but that's imprecise—Iron Dome isn't the primary system for these high-speed, long-range ballistic threats (that's Arrow's role). Saturation barrages, decoys, speed, and sheer volume can overwhelm even advanced layers, allowing debris or warheads through despite many successful intercepts earlier in the war. The IDF is investigating tonight's specific misses but notes this isn't a "new" or unfamiliar munition type.”

And lives ruined - some sources say 50,000 kids in Gaza are missing at least one limb and thousand without parents and all kinds of disease and skin problems because the people are living along all the toxins and chemicals of the war in wet tents. Israel and Trump are out of control..

I’ve never ever seen the majority of online posters siding with the country we are supposedly at war with. Almost every poll on X, people are on Iran’s side by high numbers - 80 to 90 %. Trump can kill 165 little girls and have no problem with it ( true psychopath not even a sad thought)and to make it worse, Israel targets and bombs a school of young Iranian boys a week later.

Even Jeffrey Epstein said Trump was the most evil person he ever met. Now it sounds like Trump & Israel have no problem with bombing a nuclear reactor -
Radiation around the world - no problem. Iran said whatever crime Israel does to Iran, Iran will do back - so I’m sure the - bomb my nuclear reactor- we will bomb all your nuclear stuff.
