I don't know how much courage it took. Most people fear losing or leaving a job because of losing their income. Doesn't Cooper have his own wealth?

He is heir to the prominent Vanderbilt family dynasty, specifically inheriting the majority of the estate of his mother, artist and fashion designer Gloria Vanderbilt, when she died in 2019. He is the great-great-great-grandson of shipping and railroad tycoon Cornelius Vanderbilt.
