One of the most depressing things is that this happens constantly and blatantly and nobody seems to give a shit.

The patriarchal GOP hates that many young women refuse the young men who spend their lives playing video games, watching online porn, and getting their ideas from the Dark Web. Who wouldn’t want to date a man who wants to subjugate you, thinks rape is his right, and believes that he is naturally superior to all other humans!

... and it turned her life into absolute hell. This was in the fifty/sixties. The first girl's father was a Summit County deputy sheriff. When she went to her pastor, he told her to submit to her father. He raped all three sisters. My ex-wife's father was an Ohio state Republican official and worked for VA.

It's not new, it's become a dark part of our culture. Me Too has much bigger pool of members than we know.

... good, bad, indifferent, is a white male natural rational for anything they want to do - from racism, misogyny, abuse, murdering spouses, family, children. Why is the country so split? Not because we bring every man up right.

I've been struck by the amount of murders and murder suicides there were this "holiday season". Women are perpetrators in a significantly smaller proportion. Why is men are the perpetrators of child molestation? Child pornography? Organized crime? Because most of us were brought up right?

People with morals, integrity, empathy and ethics, believed that the casting couch was a disgusting symbol of a past America.

MAGAt voters, including women that have daughters believe that the casting couch is just one more opportunity for advancement, money, sex and power that woke people have taken away from them.

Hell, Megan Kelly just shared an opinion on her show that Epstein wasn't really a pedophile, because the girls weren't 8, but were 17, or 18, or could pass for 17, or 18. I believe Ms. Kelly has a 14 year old daughter.

The MAGAts will defend this disgusting shit on "X"-crement, and some will even tell you that it's God's will that their daughters be pursued and sexualized by creepy rich old white men.

Fri Jan 2, 2026, 10:09 AM

It is subculture, the ultra rich. Mainstream culture does not accept what they did but the ultra rich are a small group that insulates themselves from laws and accountability. That is completely different.

None of us know everything that happens at Davos or Bilderberg, and Epstein island was even further off the radar.

What carries over is the lack of accountability. But that is rightly perceived as corruption; violations of the cultural norms, not as "nobody gives a sh;t"

First that the post wasn't removed by Twitter/X and might as well remind people X is a shit show.

Second that he found an app that would create artificial child porn or even just fake nudes.

Third might as well let people know who Harold is in case people didn't know he was a criminal perv.

...making our 14-year-old girls off-limits from a historical perspective--which is a good thing.

Mind-blowing and definitely not "right"--but true.

Something that has been rattling around in the back of my head since this story has begun to drip out is: how did potentially thousands of under-age girls end up on private jets headed to a Caribbean island without parents, teachers, coaches, somebody, somewhere in the background asking WTF?

I get that they targeted and recruited people in vulnerable situations, but it is still disturbing that it seems like every adult in their lives let them down--including but not limited to the wealthy men that abused them.

Virginia Giuffre, for example:
"When Giuffre was four, her family moved to Loxahatchee, Florida, where they lived on a 2-acre (1-hectare) property surrounded by open land. The family kept horses, chickens, and goats, and Giuffre often went horseback riding.

When Giuffre was seven, someone she described as a family friend started sexually abusing her. “It turned my entire life around,” she told Brown. “I went from being a very happy child to a completely different person.” She started running away from home, spending nights at friends’ houses. The rest of her childhood years were rough and sometimes violent. She lived with an aunt in California and then in foster homes back in Florida, where she attended a school for troubled teens. She also said her father beat her severely at least once. In 1998, when she was 14, she ran away to Miami, where she was recruited into a sex-trafficking operation run by a man named Ron Eppinger—but Eppinger was soon arrested by the FBI, and Giuffre went back to live with her parents."
https://www.britannica.com/biography/Virginia-Giuffre

And she is just one of potentially thousands.

What the hell are we doing here?

Interesting to note that Giuffre's father was working at Mar-a-Lago when she returned which is how she got her job working in the spa where Maxwell recruited her into the Epstein saga.

It is hard to believe that Epstein's BFF didn't know what was going on--and logically participated in it IMO until the authorities began asking questions.

It's the same culture that some churches have - a pile of excuses and an effort to minimize rape.

It also exposes the fact that they cannot relate to women. They are so lost in their ideology that talking with a woman and accepting her as an equal scares the crap out of them, because their dogma does not work in the real world. God help them if a woman has an opinion or standards that oppose theirs - they can't handle it. So they resort to degrading, name calling, de- humanizing, etc. So they go for kids who are too young to have standards and viewpoints, they can treat like nothing more than a "hole".

It happened at a party where lots of police were present. She tried to report it and they wouldn't even listen to her. She went directly to the DA and was told she would be safer if she moved to another city and that her case would be impossible to prosecute successfully. She moved to another state.

It is infuriating.

It was in a small town where everybody knows everybody. And no matter what she did it was going to come back on her. I know its not all police, but just as a lot of men always protect each other, a lot of police will always protect each other.

By my father, I was about 9yo.
He was normally very straight-laced and had previously expressed negative opinions on things like promiscuity, abortion, divorce, and homosexuality.
He made no comment whatsoever on Bond's promiscuity (which has been a feature of every single movie since), but had plenty to say about the "queers". (I am "queer&quot .
He turned around eventually on my sexuality, but never dropped his disgust at promiscuous behavior.
