So the media freaked out when Nancy Pelosi had fancy ice cream in her freezer

so they will be TOTALLY outraged by trump's performance on New Years Eve, the night before millions lose their healthcare subsidies, right? He bid one hundred thousand dollars for a painting, and then called another auction goer's bid of TWO MILLION dollars for a painting "peanuts".

Again, all of this happened at his estate last night on the eve of millions losing their healthcare. Real man of the people. right? And if a Dem did this........sorry, but I think the corporate media would need 24/7 medical emergency personnel on standby for the next six months to assist with all the heads exploding.

Call me crazy, but it seems to me like white men who champion the preservation of white male privilege get all the passes, all the credit, and none of the blame. If you aren't with them you get none of the passes, none of the credit and all of the blame. And the MS media is in on it.

I'm just going out on a limb here.

Except you left out one thing...

It is wealthy white men privilege. I assure you that dirt-poor white men are either lost in the cult, or understand that all of this 'privilege' is only being given to the rich, white men. (Or the ones who have done a good job of passing as one.)

Maybe my last.

I didn't dig into the details of the hierarchy, but wealthy white men are certainly on top. But being white and not so wealthy also has its privileges as data from police stops and criminal justice outcomes will suggest. I think the Southern "good old boy" is descended from the poor Southern whites who were granted status over newly freed blacks following the Civil War. That power didn't make them wealthy, but it gave them license to act as Jim Crow enforcers while the white folks of means still disparaged them as poor white trash.

Always.

My wish is to remove that power from the little green piece of paper, but I might as well wish for Godzilla to walk up from Lake Superior and visit.

NEW YORK –New York Attorney General Letitia James today released the following statement after Donald J. Trump was forced to pay more than $2 million in court-ordered damages to eight different charities for illegally misusing charitable funds at the Trump Foundation for political purposes:

“Not only has the Trump Foundation shut down for its misconduct, but the president has been forced to pay $2 million for misusing charitable funds for his own political gain....Funds have finally gone where they deserve — to eight credible charities. My office will continue to fight for accountability because no one is above the law — not a businessman, not a candidate for office, and not even the president of the United States.”

As part of a resolution of the lawsuit announced on November 7th, Trump was ordered to pay $2 million, or $250,000, a piece to eight different charities. Those charities are Army Emergency Relief, the Children’s Aid Society, Citymeals-on-Wheels, Give an Hour, Martha’s Table, the United Negro College Fund, the United Way of National Capital Area, and the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. Additionally, Trump was forced to reimburse his namesake foundation $11,525 for sports paraphernalia and champagne purchased at a charity gala, which was added to $1,797,598.30 already in the foundation’s bank account. The combined $1,809,123.30 was split evenly and recently transferred to the eight agreed upon charities. Each charity ended up receiving a total of $476,140.41.

A very cynical one.

Mexico will pay for The Wall.

Tariffs are paid by the Seller Country. And the US has taken in TRILLIONS!

We're all getting $2000 checks.

There is no inflation.

The 2020 election was rigged.

Russia wants the best for Ukraine.

What was that again that Trump didn't lie about?
