Only targets of active investigations are off limits, everything else is fair game.

So, unless Pam is dumb enough to open an investigation into trump himself, he's got nowhere to hide, and any dems being looked at, are protected from public disclosure.

how this might conflict with the courts.
There were federal rulings that prohibited this stuff from getting released, grand jury testimony and stuff.
Admittedly, I don't know why the judges prohibited it, so I'm wondering if that will be the thing that prevents the stuff from getting out regardless of these votes.

Even if they were to attempt a cover-up, you trust these nincompoops to not fuck it up somewhere along the line?

Knowing them, instead of redacting Trump's name in black, they'd highlight it in yellow.

Oh, and there's always the whistleblowers...

It reminds me of Jeff Flake and the FBI "investigation" of Beer Bong Kavanaugh. So really it's more of a sick feeling.
