‘Humbly, I’m sorry’: Marjorie Taylor Greene says she’s turning a new leaf after years of divisive comments

When pressed by Bash on why she didn’t speak out against Trump using [toxic] rhetoric until it was directed at her, Greene conceded that it was “fair criticism.”

“I would like to say, humbly, I’m sorry for taking part in the toxic politics; it’s very bad for our country,” Greene said. “It’s been something I’ve thought about a lot, especially since Charlie Kirk was assassinated.”

“I’m only responsible for myself and my own words and actions … and I’ve been working on this a lot lately, to put down the knives in politics,” Greene said. “I really want to just see people be kind to one another.”

“I’m leading the way with my own example, and I hope that President Trump can do the same,” she said.

scared the shit out of her.. standing with a Democrat is great optics but she’s facing a very angry constituency back home..voters that are middle class and aging..voters that rely on SNAP and Obamacare to survive..the threat of losing her very cushy money making job must be terrifying..
