West Virginia delegates propose exchanging Harpers Ferry Park land for

border protection training facility.

HARPERS FERRY, W.Va. (WBOY) — A bill sponsored by West Virginia’s two delegates proposes a land exchange between Harpers Ferry National Historic Park and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

The bill was introduced by Representatives Riley Moore (R-WV), Carol D. Miller (R-WV), Mark Amodei (R-NV), and Mike Simpson (R-ID), and according to a release from Rep. Moore, the goal of the bill is to enable a “long-awaited expansion” of the CBP Advanced Training Center in Harpers Ferry.

A training camp there would be rugged and rather dangerous for those whose physique depends on steroids and twice a week lifting weights at Planet Fitness for an hour or so.
Lots of potential fall damage. Just saying.

Pretty much all of the elected officials in WV are Repukes. They've successfully sold the people on the idea that the corporate overlords are on their side.
