After the votes in both houses he probably won't veto. What he is likely to do is similar to the Nixon playbook in 1973. At that time Nixon stalled and stalled and finally released edited transcripts of the Watergate tapes, which although didn't completely exonerate him, also contained no "smoking guns".

When the Supreme Court ordered Nixon to turn over the unedited raw tapes in 1974, which did have the "smoking gun", Nixon was out of office in a matter of days.

I'm guessing Trump will stall as much as he can and redact as much as he can a la Nixon 1973 with regard to the files. The problem for him is thousands of people have seen them, many of the files have been digitized and there could be many copies of the unredacted files floating around. There are also other sources of information, including emails and witnesses.

Nixon only had to coverup one set of tapes which only a handful of people had access. Trump has a much bigger problem.

Oh, and by the way, Nixon went down.

Now we can only hope that he might take a look at his plunging polling with Latinos,
"Declare Victory" on his deportation campaign and stand down on that, too!

I think Democrats will win them ALL, and maybe a few of the original GQP districts
which they weakened in the hopes of getting another five Republicans!

That would be poetic justice.... and we could start calling them
