There is a great likelihood that the reason DOJ/Hackagain

don't want to present the grand jury material is because they lied and presented phony "evidence" to the grand jury they knew to be false.

Just in case anybody was thinking of responding to me and saying "they would never do that" just save the electrons. There is nothing they wouldn't do. Just look at their conduct in the immigration cases. Just look at the open corruption and extortion of this administration. Telling lies, fabrication, obfuscation and defiance of court orders is their standard operating procedure.

Look at the sweetheart treatment for Maxwell after she vouched for Crumb the 1st. Blanche likely also used his extensive questioning of her to bird dog time frames for when things happened so they could narrow the file search and scrubbing operation. Does anybody seriously think that when the assistant AG requests to review a file that when he gives it back for filing someone goes through it to see if anything has been changed or is missing? Not happening in busy offices. Boss asks for a file, he gets the file, later he gives it back to a clerk to be put back in the location files are stored, clerk puts file back. That's how it goes.

In fact a clerk, or anybody else, would probably catch hell if they were "checking" before and/or after.

Sadly no legal case, that I'm aware of other than Maxwell, has been in the system where a motion for preservation could have been pursued. Maxwell is just going with whatever she thinks will get her pardoned/commuted and so she isn't going to make waves. If one of the victims had a current case pending then preservation, Special Master etc. could be pursued. As I said there may be a case but I'm not aware of one. Given the conduct of this DOJ in other cases/investigations there may be a good chance a litigant could prevail for some protection of records.

Now whether this bunch of fascists would obey a court decision is a total crap shoot and one can be sure they would at least run to the loving arms of their protectors on the Supreme Court.

You're right -- there's nothing these degenerates wouldn't do.
