I Met Bishop Budde Yesterday!

My husband switched over from Catholic to the Episcopalian a few years ago (I call him an Episcopagan). So, he finally got around to going for formal acceptance into the Episcopal Church. Yesterday was the confirmation ceremony for the Diocese of Washington DC and suburban Maryland. Bishop Marianne Budde presided over the ceremony, which was in both English and Spanish. We haven't been to the National Cathedral in many years, so it was a treat for us. After the ceremony, there was a line to take pictures with Bishop Budde. I told her "thanks for all that you are doing." That was about all we had time for. Hint I'm the one in the gold dress. My husband is masked because he is immunocompromised.

Also, remember when Taco Tits fell asleep at Carter's funeral? I took a picture of the exact spot!
