A Texas trooper who confronted South Carolinas Nyck Harbor after the players touchdown on Saturday was sent home from the game, according to the states Department of Public Safety.
Harbor scored on an 80-yard reception in the second quarter and entered the tunnel after the score, appearing to walk off a leg injury. As he and three of his teammates, including running back Oscar Adaway III, were walking back to the field, the trooper walked in between Harbor and Adaway and bumped into them.

(43 posts)for gameday is a pretty cushy job with a lot of cool perks.
Getting dropped from that detail and put outside working gameday traffic is a pretty good punishment.

(16,912 posts)at the very least, he should get a written reprimand in his personnel jacket.
Personally, I think he should be terminated, but that's not up to me to decide.

(16,845 posts)He should receive a suspension (at a minimum) without pay. He was a blatant asshole in that encounter.
I remember a time when the Texas DPS was respected - long, long time ago. This guy is a disgrace.
