1. That state trooper (the one who got in between them) was thrown out and is going to be "dealt with" apparently

I didn't see it, but I read an alert about it...

That trooper needs to be fired at the earliest possible opportunity. Pretty rare to see that sort of overt, unjustified shoving by a law enforcement officer. He has no business carrying a gun and a badge. Those football players weren't doing anything out of line. Inexcusable.

notice it's 2 black players he assaulted, when the hell are these bad cops going to realize that the days of being able to pull this crap are long gone with all the cameras today.

11. I agree. I was watching the game live and immediately thought it was racist.

The players understood that too and just walked away.
Good for them.
Said to see this but not surprised when involving a Texas cop.

3. Cops at college football games (esp. in the south) think they're the main character.

One particularly obvious manifestation is the handful who act as bodyguards for a head coach during the on-field post-game stuff. Watch how they purposely stage themselves just so behind the coach and sideline reporter so they can peacock on camera without sight line obstruction. Their priority plainly is posing, not security.

It's a prestige position. This guy just lost that.

Young, amazingly fit, fast twitch athletes wearing padding, armor & a helmet?
They'd have pulverized him.
That cop is really dumb.

Needs to be FIRED and arrested for assault! Look deeply at anything previous. I bet there is lots of interesting stuff in this asshole files.
