Regarding Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert being so adamant in calling for release

of the Epstein files:

I've never seen this speculated anywhere, but does anyone think it is possible that they are so adamant in calling for the release of the Epstein files because they were sexually molested as girls? I know there are other possible explanations for their position, but being molested as girls could also explain what appears to be their general sense of inner anger/rage.

but Nancy Mace was molested as a child, that's why she is so adamant about releasing the files.

that IF the files are released they have been redacted or altered enough. Or....they are taking this position hoping to extract leverage/something from the WH.

Not saying I know their personal histories but so far they've had no problem worshipping TSF, knowing his own personal history with women. The WH and MSM sure made a big show of the WH meeting with Boebert.

So many women have been victims of sexual abuse, it is entirely possible that they can't ignore Epstein.

It is the obvious first thought.

GOP never stands up to do the right thing unless it impacts them personally.

Being sexually abused explains their speaking out, drug abuse, anger, sexual acting out issues.

is probably hearing from her Georgia constituents and realizes that her ties to Trump are going to hurt her in 2026. So, she's backing away from fealty to Trump, in hopes of saving her phony baloney job. It won't work, I think. but that's likely her reason.

Boebert is just an idiot. She will probably lose in 2026, whatever she does.

for having ovaries. I’m sure they’ve witnessed and heard enough from Grand Old Pedophile party male leadership undermining them, their work, etc. Moreover, either of them have probably been groped by many Republican men, possibly including Trump.

But you are right, if there was molestation over a long period of time, that might be a motivating factor. More likely, they have polled the women in their districts who still have a drop of human decency, and who want the Epstein files released. I can’t help thinking that Alabama sent a Senator to Washington, albeit for two years, because the opponent was a pedophile. Enough right wing women stayed home, allowing Doug Jones to win.
