I bought groceries today. Everything was significantly more expensive. I was shocked.

Usually I can find savings in the 50% off section, but not today. tRump is screwing everything up.

1. Seriously. Hope trump keeps claiming prices are down. The rubes who supported him are eating less beef.

They know prices are up. Though many will still see it as worth cost to own libs.

Canned vegetables are now 2$, orange juice was 5.29 for the top 3 brands here, and the broccoli was 3.99 and wilted. The store brands aren’t much over in price, these days.

I look for their sales and stock up. I am on a budget and buy when the sales are good.

This week they have a great sale on Cambells soup, Green Giant veggies and Hines sauce and Near East rice and pilaf for $1. Those are great prices! I plan to buy them for the food pantry.

Yes, food is expensive, I buy what is on sale and that includes fresh veggies for me.

3. Screwing everything up, yes. But also that screwing up is unnecessary and purposeful.

The most important criticism, imo, is that this was all avoidable.

I saw a can of baba ganoush for around $7.

It’s so easy to make. Forget buying canned.

are practically minting gold. And if you make your own hummus you can even make it low fat or add different spices. My favorite is garlic, black pepper, and sage.
