General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI was listening to the talking heads on MSNBC
this afternoon and evening about the call by Crumb The 1st to "$25,000" Bondi to initiate all kinds of criminal investigations about only certain people in the Epstein files. None of the talking heads I heard mentioned the obvious ploy here. If Bondi does open these "investigations" it will give them cover to not release the Epstein files because they will claim it's all material to an "ongoing criminal investigation" and therefore it would be improper to release them.

What will be interesting to see is if this can forestall the vote entirely, getting everyone on record, or if this can only be used as a reason to decline the release of files, after the vote sends the request forward. I haven't heard anything on that yet.
