Trump will never willingly resign.

Even if he gets impeached, he will not go willingly. He will attempt another 1/6, or worse. By worse, he will order bombs dropped somewhere trying to start a war. No conscious, no morals, no ethics, desperate.

Our only hope is that he will not be obeyed.

If he actually got impeached and removed, they'd not come out to overthrow the gubmint

He's really starting to embarrass them

He actually started on this trail, denying the increasing loss of support, when he stopped posting on X/Twitter

Rather have him see the fading support and disgrace if it happens, the thing he craves.

it’s seen as more realistic an option as it ever was. With elderly presidents, it has to be in the toolbox.

Let's face it, the magats are reprehensible deplorables who DON'T CARE how vile their elected representative are--the more vile, the better in their eyes.

And his malignant narcissism will prevent that

There was a joke going around after he lost in 2020 that there would’ve needed a swat team to get him out of the WH

I actually think that might be required this time

If somehow he is successfully impeached and convicted, a new president will be sworn in and become CIC. If not following impeachment, then on 1/20/29.

Trump will be removed, by force if necessary, and he can’t do anything about it.

I predict (based on nothing concrete) that he may be forced to resign by Republicons (if he doesn't crash health-wise first). He could give up surprisingly easily because he will know he's cornered. If charges are brought, he'll try to get a pardon from Vance. Or escape to Saudi Arabia. If he tries any revenge action, nobody will obey his orders. I think there's a good chance Epstein will do him in.

At any rate, I believe Vance is unfortunately the next president, well before 2028. Vance is measuring the curtains...

(PS--After posting this I was reading in GD, and I see that Mineral Man posted this resignation theory earlier... )

then he has no authority to order anything, even if he refuses to leave, the military won't obey an order from him to attack anything, it would be an illegal order.
