A Simple Meal

Feeling nostalgic and was looking for a poignant reminder of what a president should be like.

This is the time President Obama and Anthony Bourdain sat down for a simple meal, in a simple restaurant, in Hanoi Vietnam.
There are few human beings that have genuinely shaped my perspective more than these two men.

While neither man was perfect, they are, down to their DNA, good human beings that genuinely care about the welfare of other human beings.

I really miss that in our government, when it actually cared about people.
The contrast between these two men and any person in the current administration could not be more different.
Just a reminder that there are good leaders, good people, in the world and we should cherish them while we can.
