It seems like we are looking for a glimmer of sanity from Trump and his nazis every day. When we inevitably don't get it, we are rightfully horrified.

We are being led by evil, criminal psychopaths. They don't care about the law, only what they can get away with. They are going to keep doing what they are doing, or worse, until they are stopped. We should not waste our time being shocked at what they do. They count on that to keep us off balance. They need immediate retaliation using every law, civil action or podium every time they pull this stuff. We are literally at war, minus the guns.

This all was racially profiled to the max and highly targeted. Otherwise, many of the encounters (on the North Side) seemed more random than anything - from what I saw on various online platforms.

I walk at least 35 - 40 miles per week in the City of Chicago, but I never stray west of Kedzie, north of Howard, or south of Division Street. I personally never once saw federal personnel since the occupation began. I use public transportation every day. I don't drive. And before anyone takes what I am saying the wrong way, YES, I UNDERSTAND THAT MY EXPERIENCE IS MY OWN: I UNDERSTAND THAT WHAT IS HAPPENING IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING AND THAT IS HORRID, DISGUSTING, AND COMPLETELY RACIST TO THE CORE.

The City isn't large mileage-wise compared to a place like Houston, but it is big in other ways. And we are tough. We are resilient people.

Midwesterners are mostly fair and law-abiding folk with a sense of "what's right is right." You don't harm kids, women, the weak, or the elderly. Those are street rules ingrained in my head since childhood. Before anyone wants to pick at that, YES, I UNDERSTAND THOSE TRAITS ARE NOT UNIQUELY MIDWESTERN.

Chicago isn't a "hell on Earth" and it pisses me off that anyone characterizes my hometown that way. For whatever reason. As a Chicagoan, I am not fearful. Never liked cops to begin with being a police violence survivor. I was beaten by a group of cops while I was handcuffed and that was 25 years before The Orange Shitstain became president. Don't even get me started on routine harassment, racial profiling, etc. None of this is new. Different actors, same racist American show.

We outnumber ICE/CPB/Gestapo. We outnumber the military. We outnumber every filthy cop.

The Gestapo are cowards. All it took was 2 - 3 inches of snow and some gunshots thrown their way to move the Gestapo Roadshow to Charlotte, NC. Or so snowflake Bovino says.

I'm heartsick, outraged, and above all so sad and scared for the people of Chicago. And of course, they are planning to do this to the rest of our country, at least in the cities where lots of Democrats live . It's beyond belief what is happening and that there are so many horrible, hateful, violent thugs who have signed up for this and apparently enjoy it. The fact that they feel they don't have to follow court orders is especially scary and disgusting.
