Note to MSNBC

Just a small gritch. Realize that you are prepping for your new name but can't help hoping that change does NOT include bringing back Luke Russert and Chris Matthews. Please.

I was curious and added it up and it's about 20 minutes of commercials per hour. So, for every 2 minutes of programming there is 1 minute of mind numbing commercials. It's not just MSNBC either. The only way I can watch TV is to record the show, watch it later and fast-forward through the commercial breaks. It's a little inconvenient but a LOT less irritating and also saves a lot of time.

And yes the best option is just to stop or at least drastically cut back on the amount of time watching commercial tv.

He was one of the most annoying people I've seen on MSNBC. I couldn't believe it when I saw his face again the other day. Definitely looks like he's trying too hard to look like a serious journalist, but he's the same Luke Russert with more facial hair.

I noticed that Russert has been pretty visible lately after leaving for quite a long while. Don’t love him, don’t hate him, but he does not have the presence and charisma of his father. Personally, I really like Chris Matthew’s, always have. He has his flaws, but he’s got a huge personality and enormous enthusiasm for politics.

Is this guy on MSNBC now? I have not

watched that network for several years. Sometimes I listen for short stretches on Sirius, but it is mostly torture because Comcast doesn't allow them to state the obvious on most subjects.

Does anybody actually think it will get better? I am about to the point that the only thing I watch on cable is a few football games. My local NBA is only on streaming now, as are the college hoops I would watch. It is way past time to cut the cable.

I do about 5X as many minutes per week on podcasts as I do teevee now. Does anybody have good recommendations for political podcasts that get to the important information quickly without all the personalities and drama? I tried Democracy Now, but that was just too depressing for me.

... as a regular, and potential co-host at MSNOW. - that would be Luke. The other - Chris - has been a semi-regular with Joe and Mika for a long time and is around promoting his book, so he's branched out to other shows... but temporarily. Just my opinion.

He seems to have grown up some. Of course, time will tell.

Matthews? He's still the blathering blowhard as before, but with a book now on Bobby Kennedy. He has at least called out RFK Jr's idiocy, so there is that...

I feel bad about what happened to him; I remember it well enough and how sad so many people felt. I don't doubt people's sorrow over losing him; it was tragic. But why bring him up now?

I may be missing something but Kennedy family nostalgia takes you only so far...

What I'd like to see more of is the efforts of women trying to get towards electing one President of the USA! We've gotta do better than we have been doing!

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM, USA?

No threat there. Now if they would just drop Joe "I balanced the budget for the first time in history 4 years in row" Scarfuckhead. I'd rather watch Bugs Bunny cartoons for 4 hours in the morning than listen to his "I was born a middleclass southen white boy" fucking insipid bullshit. Keep the rest of the crew anyway and call it Morning without Joe, yeah that's the ticket.
Joe Blow.... Nobody cares!!!! STFU.
