We really are in the "Drip, Drip, Drip" phase of the Don & Jeff Show.

All of these little details keep coming out, and the WAY they're coming out is pretty smart, because they're coming out just fast enough to always be a few steps ahead of Trump's "rapid response team."

I think that Trump went to his happy place...a $350 million monument to himself, built on White House property, which he does now own, and he won't pay for, and stayed there.

I don't know if he thought the Epstein thing was behind him or not. He always talks himself into thinking he'll escape the noose, and he usually does. So what if he had to write a few $25 million checks to make people go away. You can always squeeze the rubes for more.

And, none of that rose colored glasses shit is happening. I'm seeing an increase in people who are thinking "MAYBE he DID those things..."

And they don't care about Trump mounting Porn Stars and Playmates, but it's a little different when they think it was someone's kid.

He's going to have to pull a MAJOR FUCKING MIRACLE out of his ass to make this go away.

I think they're so used to dishing it out and throwing it at the walls that they never thought about what if they themselves become that wall.

the Hoax angle (and ignoring it in RW media) seems their only viable (though still weaksauce) answer-- they can't blame the children, Epstein's dead, and he's got no relevant Whatabouts to point at and blame. Unless they come up with something different, and soon, this could turn into an avalanche of public opinion turning against him.

He's in unknown territory. Whether he has the treachery to scale the wall and escape the angry villagers, remains to be seen.

I imagine Dems & Independents would be repelled by his hat trick of adjudicated rapist, convicted felon, and pedophile, if it gets that far.

But the cult...I think the cult is more afraid of President Newsom than they are facing the fact that Trump's depravity knows no depths.

And, it's not because they have any cognitive accuracy on what a Gavin Newsom presidency would look like. All they can envision is what Fox "News" has already put in their heads.

CNN's Kristin Holmes has completely lost her smirk and the twinkle in her eye that she would display while reciting the administration's lies. She actually looked worried when I saw her reporting a while ago.

Probably war is the only response.
Based on literature, of course

The Greatest Man in the World, by James Thurber

Wag The Dog (movie) Old Shoe

The film centers on a spin doctor and a Hollywood producer who fabricate a war in Albania to distract voters from a presidential sex scandal.

The President of the United States is caught making advances on an underage girl inside the Oval Office less than two weeks before the election. Conrad Brean, a top spin doctor, is brought in by presidential aide Winifred Ames to take the public's attention away from the scandal. He decides to construct a fictional war in Albania, hoping that the media will concentrate on this instead.

But when the CIA—in collusion with the president's rival candidate—reports that the war has ended, the media begins to revert its focus to the president's sexual misconduct scandal. To counter this, Motss invents a hero who was left behind enemy lines in Albania.

When the team goes to retrieve Schumann, they discover that he is actually a criminally insane Army convict.
