Nebraska Rep. Don Bacon said in a TV news appearance Wednesday that he will vote to release the Epstein files when a bill gets to the House floor next week.
Bacon, who is retiring from Congress, was among the first Republicans to confirm they would vote with Democrats, and since then officials from both parties have indicated that anywhere from a few dozen to more than 100 GOP representatives could vote that way.

Bacon expressed trust in the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee's investigative process, citing documents it has already uncovered and released.
