(6,152 posts)and he loses leverage. One misstep, taken at the right time and under the right circumstances, could see most of the GOP leadership turn on him at that moment and immediately begin denying they ever had anything to do with him at all.
My amateur inferences have me thinking the beginning of this summer will see key leadership start peeling away from his mad barking and begin circling the wagons for the mid-terms next year. Without their support, he begins to deflate, complete with the loud whistle/farting sound deflation sometimes brings.
