so i might go for special events once in a great while. At most other times and places when dining I don't want every direction I might look to have some TV screen polluting the view.

And the entire time it was all "Biden sucks, Trump is great" shit. That was when I decided I was done with that place. If they put the TVs on all sports, that's one thing. but in my town the only time I encounter Fox News is one lobby of one bank branch. A tv tuned to CNN is right next to it.

I was on my computer listening to MSNBC online and they aired part of the Trump bobble headed press secretary's comments. I thought I'd stroke out. I immediately turned it off and looked fondly at the bottle of Jack Daniels. Nope, not going there. These evil creeps are not going to take me down.

If some workman came into my house and decided he wanted to watch Fox Newschannel on my TV I might be more than pissed.
By the same token, you can't go in and turn off their TVs. You could ask. But even that might not be the most prudent thing to do.

My better half is remodeling a bathroom and the homeowners have Faux infotainment & OAN on all the time. Last Wednesday he went there and said to them “Great night for the democrats”. The women replied “They elect a communist in NYC”.
Yesterday their cable went out and they were frantic because their supply was cut off. The man was sitting in front of the tv which had a blank screen.

When he passed the apartment I was working in he made a comment, thinking I would agree. My response was to ask him if he knew he was in a place called “Sacramento” in a State called “California”, and that his family had certainly moved there from somewhere else… Crickets.

I worked for a widowed lady who was an “Angel” to lots of her acquaintences as she helped guide them through the issues confronting her senior friends. She was on the phone all day helping them. And in the background Rush Limbaugh is droning-on about”FemiNazis” endlessly. Such a sweet lady being poisoned a drop at a time. Incongruous.
Luckily, I didn’t have to deal with it too often. I got a license and I made a lot of effort to work in solitary. Not lucrative, but I didn’t end up dispensing “rough Justice” and having to live amongst them in the slammer.

I was supposed to unpack a fox viewer and he was so rude to my co worker who is a gay man that I asked my boss to get someone else for the unpack. I felt so sorry for his wife. She was restraining him because she turned off fox and he was going to have a meltdown. I also suspect he had dementia but he was so far gone in magaloon fox ideology.

I'm sorry that you have to go into so many homes with Fox News. I only go into one, my aunt and uncle's, and that's one too many. At least they mute it so I don't have to listen to it and I can ignore it.
