military is "gladiators." They don't realize that many tasks are related to proper operation of technical assets, not hand-to-hand combat. It is also about data and acquired intelligence, whether signal or human. These top-of-their-field leaders have advanced degrees, training, experience, and they don't need leadership training from a dry drunk who manhandles strippers, pees in public on the side of a 4 or 5 star hotel, or trades in his wife every few years like a leased vehicle.

I think Pete Kegsbreath has problems with self-confidence and defining his manhood.

The excessive drinking, the obsession with sex, the sexual predation, the marital cheating, the bluster, the focus on physical appearance.

He's trying to prove something to someone, be it Daddy, his friends, or himself.

However, I loved our imbecile leader's comment about what he says a military person should be: "Constitutional Leader".

If he listened to his own speech, he would take that to heart and commit seppuku so we could have an honest true leader in charge of our military instead of a maniac clown out to destroy it.
