So after the meeting between R leadership, trump and Dems, R's lie to the camera ! Color me not shocked!

Aaron Rupar is following the comments from Vance, Johnson, and Jeffries on bluesky. Here's an example of the lies JD and Johnson are peddling. JD blames "Biden policies" for rural hospitals shutting down in Sept. 2025. He scolds Dems: "You don't use your policy differences to shut down government." Mike Johnson is saying that if the govt shuts down, the WIC program and FEMA won't be funded. Because you know that Rs have always been BIG CHAMPIONS of those programs.

Schumer's response: "We have very large differences on healthcare and on their ability to undo whatever budget we agree to through rescissions and through impoundment."

Why would we expect Trump to keep such a deal?

Didn't our Supreme Court just rule that Trump doesn't have to fund programs he doesn't like, even though Congress authorized and approved the spending?

They are out to screw America. They have all the tools. They break their word every day. They have no respect for anyone or anything. They love to see working folks lose their jobs, their healthcare, their safety nets. Their top money man dances on stage with a chainsaw celebrating the destruction of people's livelihoods.

How can you make a deal under these circumstances?

In every answer, Dems should preface with I don't know about that, because the president lies about everything. I mean, the Rs are lying about Dem positions constantly. Shouldn't we be telling the truth about what they're doing? They are not trustworthy negotiators.
