Living in constant fear...

Last edited Mon Sep 29, 2025, 02:56 PM - Edit history (1)

When you live near a city, you get an entirely different perspective on life. Yesterday our grandson had a baseball game here in the suburbs of Cleveland. They played a team from the city of Cleveland and it was made up of young men originally from the Dominican Republic. They were having such a good time playing and so full of spirit. All we kept thinking was what if ICE shows up here to arrest these boys and their families? They must have this fear every moment of their lives. What a horrible way to live. They came to this country (as our ancestors did) to have a better life and are treated like animals.
We made up our minds that if that happened we two old people would do whatever we could to protect those young men. I am so sick of the hate and violence in this country

Good for you vowing to resist!

Right wingers live for hate and cruelty towards those they consider “inferior “ and Trump has made it acceptable to just come right out with it. Exactly the opposite of what the Bible says about welcoming the stranger.
