As of September 2025, CBS News has a newly appointed ombudsman, Kenneth Weinstein, who will address public complaints of bias. The position was created as part of the merger agreement between CBS's parent company, Paramount, and the studio Skydance.
An ombudsman is an impartial official or office that investigates complaints and resolves disputes to ensure fairness in administration and public services, advocating for individuals and consumers against potential imbalances of power with organizations or governments
CBS News is starting to cater to Trump and his MAGA audience.

(4,491 posts)The format was intriguing to me, and, of course, so was the stopwatch. I do not recall the stories in that first episode. I think it aired on Tuesday nights back then.

Another once well run program that will end up in the dustbin of history because of the orange sexual abuser and his sycophants.

They threw a crumb for a literal minute at the end, about Rob REINER movies.
