The 58th season of 60 Minutes... Suspecting a shift...

As of September 2025, CBS News has a newly appointed ombudsman, Kenneth Weinstein, who will address public complaints of bias. The position was created as part of the merger agreement between CBS's parent company, Paramount, and the studio Skydance.

An ombudsman is an impartial official or office that investigates complaints and resolves disputes to ensure fairness in administration and public services, advocating for individuals and consumers against potential imbalances of power with organizations or governments

CBS News is starting to cater to Trump and his MAGA audience.

They had been doing some good reporting in recent years, and especially just after the take over by the regime.

... even bother with the dishonest "fair and balanced" motto anymore. Maybe CBS could adopt that old lie?

The format was intriguing to me, and, of course, so was the stopwatch. I do not recall the stories in that first episode. I think it aired on Tuesday nights back then.

However, they've changed and there is rarely anything they air I find worth watching.

Another once well run program that will end up in the dustbin of history because of the orange sexual abuser and his sycophants.

Wildlife in Africa, gangs in New York. It did become political, which I didn’t need more of.

the Governor COX with his message of mush and KRASNOV's "masculine" mascot saying OBAMA shook his hand and that he and KRASNOV don't talk politics, only guy talk - meaning grabbing stuff?

They threw a crumb for a literal minute at the end, about Rob REINER movies.
