A bunch of comedians took the blood money and scooted off to the Riyadh Comedy Festival.

Lot of big names. Bill Burr, Pete Davidson (whose dad died on Sept 11), and on and on.

Jim Jefferies defended his involvement, arguing that Saudi Arabia's human rights record was comparable to that of the United States

In 2025, under Trump, the US record on Human Rights is awful - so the statement is probably true, but not a positive reflection on Saudi Arabia.

I'm disappointed about is Wayne Brady. The rest, meh, as far as my interest in them. That they are performing at this event really bothers me.

They should know better.
