We know MAGA is steeped in right-wing media, so they will keep ingesting pure lies.

As for non-MAGA, I genuinely wonder how many even pay attention any more? There seems to be a general consensus that money drives it all and it's all rage-bait. (I realize there are a few exceptions, but this is a general impression by most people, imo.)

I stopped watching as of last November. I see clips here and there. And I'm someone who was always glued to political media. We are rare here. Most people don't really pay attention.

So I wonder what has really changed. MAGA is gonna MAGA, and no matter what is said anywhere else matters not. I don't think most other people take what is said by or on any news source as gospel any more. If anything, the media environment has likely turned the majority of people away from watching. The obvious bothsiderism just makes it all mush and not of value to most people.

Maybe if they get fewer and fewer eyeballs, they'll get the message. Or not. Especially since access is more and more challenging given the cost, I think more and more people are watching YouTube. And if they're on YT, chances are pretty good they're finding their way to former anchors who were let go by networks, and they can get more raw, uncensored info there.

Screw the networks. Begging them to do their jobs doesn't work. Sadly the few who are doing their job can't make up for the rest of the programming. Other than withdrawing our eyeballs and angst, I don't know that there is anything to be done. The damage inflicted became evident long ago. They aren't trusted or valued.

Try watching an hour of news a night like we did in the old days.
They still allow lying but there is less of it.
Hell we have T V panels now that lie with a smile on their face and laugh off all serious discussion.
Diminish everything should be the republican motto.

We have a regular poster who works to subtly (and in some cases not so subtly) advance those narratives here.

They also believe FDR and Churchill were no better than Hitler and that Krasnov’s b-day parade wasn’t about Krasnov and that NATO made Russia invade Ukraine.

Good DUers should not propagandize other DUers.
