(491 posts)If it came from Trump, it wasn't an error. He would have done it on purpose.

(49,963 posts)TACO was claiming "full force" on War ravaged Portland because he's a delusional idiot who hates Americans.
Justice matters.

(3,581 posts)Did Trump post the photo somewhere and caption it "full force on war ravaged Portland"?
Did he speak about it?
Is this a threat, and if so, in response to some specific event? or did he just start trashing Portland out of the blue?
MadameButterfly
(3,581 posts)was that already there or was it added?

(49,963 posts)They think blue cities are ravaged by such things. They much prefer book bans and measles outbreaks in red rural areas.

Is this all some delusional demented rant, or is it a plot to prepare us for the occupation?
Is the dictatorship inevitable or is he just going to crash and burn when no one can defend him any more?
It's somewhere between 1984 and Alice in Wonderland.

(149,816 posts)It's a satirical post. It is a photo of war-damaged Kyiv in Ukraine. That is a "war-ravaged" city. Portland looks nothing like that. There is no war in Portland. There is a war in Kyiv.
Satire is interesting. It uses things like wildly inaccurate depictions of something that is completely non-representative of the reality. That should trigger in readers a realization that something is up in the post. Then, logic comes into play. The reader realizes that Portland does not look anything like that. Then, a little thought goes into the process. So, if Portland doesn't look like that, what is the point of the post? Ah, it's playing off Trump's statement that "Portland is a war-ravaged city, so we have to send troops in to rescue Portland."
Then comes clarity and an understanding that the intent of the OP was to attack Trump's false claim about Portland.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
