Little by little piece by piece, the SCOTUS is giving away the farm.

It isn’t legal, nor is it constitutional, as many legal experts have opined, but there is a definite plan behind this evisceration of our rights. Obviously the Republican Congress is fully behind the plan as well, apparently having taken a secret oath to dismantle our democracy.

As I see it, our last hope is still We The People. Any election from here on in must be won if we have any hope to keep this republic, and great changes made immediately. I would plead to start at the top with the removal of the six traitors on our Supreme Court.

They picked off women first, rescinding half a century of very settled law. That’s fully one half of the human species. We are not a niche population.

Seventy eight years ago I was born in Germany because my parents were driven out of their home in Latvia. At the age of four we came to the USA on a ship carrying hundreds of other post war refugees. My parents did not want to leave their native land but at least they had the hope that their child would not have to see the ravages of war once we crossed the ocean. My mother told me that she tried not to hug me too often as a baby because she saw children pulled out of their parents arms, and she did didn’t want me to be too attached in case I was taken away. I wondered all my life, what kind of monsters do that to a mother and child? Sadly, now I know.
